Don’t Trust Me

Don’t Trust Me

If you have read any of my prevues blog posts, I hope that it has been made clear to you that I at lest proclaim to be a Christian.

Regardless of whether you as the reader agree with this beliefs system, it is the one to which I hold. With that said, I also desire to crate and atmosphere in which all groups of people can come together and express their options of life and truth.

My personal belief is that Jesus Christ is the answer to both life and is the ultimate truth, but I would love to also hear your options and have the opportunity to see life from your views.

The reason I am expressing this stance is to explain why I will be changing the course of this blog channel, focusing more on a track of ideas as posed to my previous random topics.

You see, I have recently returned from an intense teaching program that has opened my eyes to a whole new level of rich and in-depth truth, and I desire to share this newfound treasure with you.

With that said, I understand that you may not agree with what I write, and that is perfectly fine. In fact, I hope that you don’t. The last thing I would ever want is to have my readers agree wholeheartedly with everything I say.

I did not create this blog so that I could become some Know-It-All with a following of brainwashed minions. I created this blog to provide a community for those who seek to learn.

As my reader, I have one request for you. Please, pretty please with a great big cherry on top, DO NOT take what I saw and agree with it.

Challenge it, and challenge me. I would love to hear your opinions and arguments against what I write. I’m here to learn as well, so please shear with me.

Also, please come to this blog with an open mind. I hope that others can learn to form the truths that I have discovered. So use your brain, challenge my ideas, but also be open to what I have to say because I say it in complete a total love from the very depths of my heart.

With that said, I’d like to take the remainder of this post and briefly explain what I will be sharing over the next few months, and why I am choosing to do so.

As I said, I have recently returned from an intense training that has radically transformed many of the ways I look at the world.

This school is called Ellerslie, and many of you should be a failure with it since I’ve referenced it in quite a few of my previous post. In case you haven’t looked into this outstanding program though, the short is that it is a mission training/bible study school that equips and trains disciples in the faith.

I spent a total of 5 weeks in Windsor Colorado at the Ellerslie campus and am continuing my training for a following 13 week via online courses. Over the next few months, I will be going back through each of the lessons taught during these classes and putting them into my own words.

I am doing this for two reasons.

1)to study out and determine truth for myself because as I have expressed to you my reader, I am strongly against people taking the options of others without first studying it out for themselves.

 2) Gaining knowledge and understanding, especially when it is as rich as the teachings found in God’s world, are not meant to remain trapped in the minds of a single person. I would be utterly selfish and cold-hearted if I kept these remarkable treasures to myself. Thus, I share them with you to do with as you see fit.

To conclude, I wish to give you just a sneak peek into the amazing adventure that lays before us by summarizing a few key foundations.

1.Our position in Christ. Understanding the significants of being crucified, buried, and risen to a new life in Christ enables me to live a life of complete victory over sin. Not because it is I who can accomplish such a feat, but because of the One who is living in and through me.

2. A saturated obsession with Jesus Christ and His word. Embracing a true and meaningful relationship with my One True Love and very Best Friend by drawing near to Him in both prayer and the seeking out of his word.

3. Being immovable and rejoicing during trials and tribulations because of my faith in Jesus Christ my Lord.

If none of that makes sense, don’t worry. Just let it spark your curiosity and inspire you to read the following post. I promise, they’ll be worth it.
